Summer – July 2008
This is Summer, a neighbor and a good friend. This young lady is only 15 years old and has quite a grip on life. She wrangles 3 horses, which explains her physical shape. This was not a planned photo shoot, but the results were pretty fun.
One afternoon I recieved my new photo backdrop mounting system in the mail. As I was hauling the boxes in, Summer stopped by to help. After getting the backdrop set up, I encouraged Summer to let me shoot her as a test. It took some encouragement (almost begging) as she was totally unprepared for beign photographed. But being a photographer, I saw a beauty and uniqueness in her and wanted to take advantage of it while I had the chance.
I took all of the images to sepia as the look fit the photos best.
