Jamie Studio Shoot – October 2008
It has been a year since Jamie and I got together for a photo shoot, so this time we shot in a new studio. Since 2007, Jamie is more than just a year older. She has changed her hair, which has changed her whole look. But what hasn’t changed is how fun Jamie is to work with.
We had a great evening, shooting over 300 photos in 4 hours, about 5 outfit changes. We used 3 different backdrops… black, white and an orange dyed muslin. This gave us 3 different contrasts and some texture to work with. Most of the shots were done with a single softbx (72″ octagon) on a 300watt strobe. On a few, a second softbox was lit up.
All shots were done with a Canon 1DS Mark III at 21.1MP in Camera RAW. At arund 25-30MB an image, 300 shots was almost a gigabyte of photos.
This is a large collection below… my 62 favorite shots (I know, that’s a lot, but they came out so good!)
